Minter Gardens

Last Friday we made a trip out to Minter Gardens.
I am an avid gardener, and spend a lot of my spare time trying to capture images from my garden as I see them. I garden blog over at The Dandelion Wrangler. I don't often post my garden photography on this blog. However, there is a time and place for everything, and I felt these images deserved to be shown here as well. Some of these images are also posted over there, but many are not.

The city's May Day Festival took place last weekend. There were numerous events, a parade, a carnival, and fun to be had by all.

king of the cats!
These paws put in a long hard day.
Letting the children pet him,
dealing with people who truly don't 'understand' him.
Its amazing he puts up with us at all....

Maybe it is because we allow him to bask in the sun.
